Renew Christian Counseling Services is owned and operated by Elizabeth Doody. Elizabeth is passionate about helping women uncover who they were created to be and discover what is holding them back from walking in freedom, purpose, and joy. Spiritual, Mental, Emotional or Physical pain can bleed into many other areas of a persons conscious and unconcious life: therefore, Elizabeth believes in a holistic approach to counseling.
Renew strives to extend love, acceptance, encouragement, and support to all clients through the lens of a Christian worldview. Building a strong and healthy relationship with clients is vitally important to the therapeutic process. Each person is intricately unique and complex, thus each client receives a customized treatment approach depending on her issues and goals for therapy.
Elizabeth received a Bachelors degree in Psychology from The University of Tennessee in Knoxville, followed by a Master's of Science Degree in Counseling from Carson Newman College. She worked for Ebenezer Counseling Services in Knoxville, TN, for five years while working towards her License in Professional Counseling, which she received in 2015. She is a mother to two children, 5 and 7, and wife to her husband Chris of ten years.
